Best Podcasts for Time to Fly By

Updated: Aug 31, 2023

Personally, I have a very mixed taste when it comes to podcasts. I can go from listening to comedy, to self-improvement, to true crime, to advice-themed, to career development, to paranormal - I think you get the idea!

I love to fill long periods of time with some sort of noise, and if I'm not in the mood to listen to music, podcasts are the way to go! I usually listen while commuting to work, throughout the day while working, cleaning the house, or even if I'm relaxing at night doing something mindlessly. They're a great way to fill the silence, some to even stimulate your mind, and there are so many genres to choose from to personalize your experience!

The ultimate comedy podcast for women - they talk about anything and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! All the topics that you may be too embarrassed to talk about, but are so relatable to practically all women. I used to listen to their 2-hour podcasts on my commute to work before working from home became a thing and I had to force myself not to laugh out loud on the metro - highly recommend!

If you don't know who Joe Santagato is - I'm so sorry. He began on YouTube years ago and branched out into creating multiple comedy podcasts (this one is my favorite). For a 22 year old woman, I find it hilarious to listen to two men talk about literally anything that comes to mind. Again, this is one of those podcasts that I used to listen to while I worked and there were multiple occasions that I began crying of laughter and had to hide it!

Celebrity comedian, Nicole Bryer, explores various relationship and self-awareness topics with other celebrity guests every week. The topics are juicy and insightful - and Nicole is one of those people that can make anything funny! You'll be laughing the whole way through, but also learning a lot about any type of relationship.

A YouTube best friend duo who also branched out to podcasts created an advice podcast for their followers. This is great for playing throughout the day or while cleaning, as it's just fun to hear what people may be going through - that may sound bad, but let's face it, we're drawn to drama. A very easy listen and Sophia and Cinzia are hilarious!

For all my true crime fanatics, this podcast is essentially a documentary that you can listen to and not watch. The stories are straight to the point and explore the most famous, but also small, true crime stories that keep you at the edge of your seat. Some of the stories are pretty gruesome and they'll definitely creep you out!

A mix of comedy, true crime, and paranormal activity - the hosts hilariously share their input while telling stories about historical crimes and paranormal events. The stories they tell are creepy, weird, haunting, and hilarious with their commentary - you'll definitely need a drink after listening!

I have so many other podcasts that I listen to, but I love branching out and listening to new ones all the time! What are some of your favorites?
