The weather is getting warmer, the sun’s staying out longer, and retail is switching to their Spring collections! Here are some key fashion trends that I've spotted that will be taking the lead this 2021 Spring season.
Monochromatic Pastels
We've seen the monochrome outfits flourish in the Fall/Winter seasons with the various shades of browns, and now, we're moving into Spring with the same trend, but bringing back classic pastels colours to tie it all together!
Corsets
As if we weren't obsessed with the corset belts in the past few years, these corset tops are adorable and add a beautiful edge to a classically "girly" clothing piece. Let me tell you, they give you BAWDY!
Cropped Blazers
So effortless, yet so chic! The cropped blazer trend elevates a basic outfit, making you so put together without even trying. I'm hoping companies release more of these with a Spring colour palette - imagine a cropped blazer in lavender? YES PLEASE!
Bermuda Sweat Shorts
Let's face it, we're so used to loungewear and it won't be going away anytime soon. But, with the warmer weather, these Bermuda sweats shorts are going to be hot this season! I see more and more brands releasing them in various colours that will be so fun to style in the Spring.
Halter Tops
This style comes and goes every few years, but it's back full force! There's a rising trend of Y2K fashion this year and the halter tops are very reminiscent of my childhood. These tops are so flattering and fun, especially if they're backless!
Square Toed Sandals & Heels
Okay, I think by now you realize that I am fully obsessed with colour this year, and my footwear will be no different! The square-toed heels trend is continuing, but the pastel colours that are attributed to them are beautiful - I shed a tear just looking at them!
Shoulder Bags
I think we can all agree that shoulder bags are the IT purse this season! They are the perfect bag to pair with simple outfits to give a cute pop of colour or beautiful pattern - plus they are super practical for a hands-free experience!
